The fridge was purchased 3 years back. Within warranty period i.e, 1st year the oil started leeking. The shop owner of Shubam, Mysore made some patch work. He was supposed to replace but didnot. 2nd year there was no coolong effect and Shubam has some service centre stating it is authorised by Godrej. But it is fake. The service centre did something and collected Rs.1100/-. ithin one month again there was no cooling effect and I banged the Service centre and he came and changed the regulator. He wanted Rs.650 and I never paid since his repair was not proper. Again in the third year, even if the regulator is fixed for maximum, the cooling is very less and vegetables and eatables gets spoiled within a day. This time I called customer care (toll free) and he is telling Rs.350/- has to be paid to the technician. They have made it a business. They are pushing defective double door fridges to the customer and cheating them. Even an experienced doctor will not be paid Rs.350 for one consultation. Godrej is one of the worst company, please donot buy Godrej refrigerators. Even this complaint also goes waste. I know very well. One has to learn from Johnson and Johnson Company for the customer care. Hats off to them. They replaced my Glucometer even after 3 years of purchase. Godrej should learn from Johnson and Johnson company.
