A contract for pest treatment for Bed Bugs was entered into by me with Godrej Hicare Ltd.under there order No. OBOMGRE0807694 OF 13/08/08. The said contract was valid for 45 days during which 2 services were to be given within 15 days and if the treatment did not work then a third treatment was to be given within 30 days (ie total 45 days). My first treatment was given on 14/08/08 and thereafter the franchisee of Godrej 'Sai Hicare Service' of goregaon mumbai went on delayin the second service for 30 days. Finally the 2nd treatment was given just a week prior to the expiry of contract.
I called up the franchisees and informed them that the bugs have been sighted inspite of the treatment to which I did not get any reply. I then sent an email to Godrej on their web site but they too remained silent. The cost for this treatment is Rs. 1800/=. I am a retired senior citizen and this amount means a lot to me. The company has clearly cheated me. Their receipt number is 2023950.
