I had purchased above mentioned refrigerator from M/s Hari Shankar & sons, 14A, Kamla Market, Delhi, vide cash memo No. 22237 dt. 29.1.06. The compressor of the said refrigerator was got faulty on 05/07/08 for which complaint was logged vide no. 200765 on same day. This complaint was attended by your service engineer who informed that the compressor of the refrigerator had got jammed and advance payment of Rs. 1818/- was taken by him for its repair as per detail below and after rigorous persuasion and followed up two compressors were replaced during one month and finally refrigerator was made operational.

But the compressor was got jammed again with in seven months for which complaint was lodged and advance payment of Rs.1850/- was made vide receipt no. 103600 dated 27.02.09. The complaint was then attended by another service engineer Sh. Sunil on dated 28.02.09 who replaced the faulty compressor. He was asked to provide the details of the advance charges paid for but shown his unwilling ness for providing the details. But on persuasion he wrote following details on the face of the bill.
1. Gas charges Rs.1250/-
2. F.O.P Rs.600/-
Total Rs.1850/-
On the same day a huge sound was noticed from the compressor for which again a complaint was logged vide no. KK0103 dt. 01.03.09 which was attended by one Sh. Sanjay on 03.03.09 and informed the sound is coming from the compressor because of the higher capacity compressor installed and nothing can be done. He was asked for the details of the amount paid for the previous repair of the compressor and he provided the following details:
1. Gas charges Rs.1390/-
2. F.O.P Rs.460/-
Total Rs.1850/-
From the above it can seen that all the three engineer had provided the different details for the same job.

In the above context I want to know the following
1. Why the approved list of charges was not available with the service engineer.
2. Why the charges were taken for the repair of compressor which was under guarantee period and the same should be refunded to me.
3. Why the abnormal sound is emanating from the newly replaced compressor and why this kind of sound was not coming from the original compressor of the refrigerator.
As above, you are requested to furnish the reply of my quarries and it can also be seen that the refrigerator is creating problem again and again since it was purchased which shows that there is some manufacturing defect in the refrigerator and should be replaced with the new one along with the refund of my amount that Rs.3668/- which I had already paid to the firm for maintenance of the refrigerator because: “Had the company used the quality compressor, I would not have incurred such huge amount on maintenance.”
