I subscribed to Good Housekeeping in Oct 08. Received my 1st copy in dec 08. Firstly,
I do not receive the magazine issues before 10th of every month. To top it all I have not yet received the promised gift along with the subscription yet. Each time you mail, call or even contact senior officials from the company, the standard answer is... In regards to your subscription gift. We apologize for inordinate delay in the delivery of the free gift. The stocks of the said gift had finished with us due to the over whelming response from the subscribers. The same were expected earlier but got delayed due to certain unavoidable circumstances. We will be able to get the shipment in another 3-4 weeks. Please bear with us in the interim.
I have been calling and mailing since Feb 09 and they have not been able to resolve it yet. It is such a shame... my subscription expires in Nov 09.
