With agony and tears, I humbly beg you to save my first innocent son Mr. Rajan Sundaram frequently persecuted, in the prison of Maldives. I am suffering like anything due to poverty. I have 3 daughters and 3 sons. All because of poverty, my son referred above went to Maldives for employment. I like to state the address of my son as below:-

My son used to talk to me over telephone and also shared his things by letters through postal service. To our misfortune, from August onwards, we have no contact and also we are not able hear any kind of information from him. During that time we got the information that my innocent son was suffering in a prison and getting persecuted severely by the Prison officials of Maldives. I received a letter written in Tamil by my son sent to me by a person who was released from the prison. I like to state a very few things as below:-
I was arrested without any evidence for any kind of crime committed by me. After getting into the prison from 29-08, for the first eight months, our hands were locked with chains tied to iron rods and kept in separate rooms. We were there by wearing one and only one inner wear, continuously for the first four months and for the second four months, we were kept naked without dress and tormented like anything by the Police Officers of Prison.
The Prison Security Guards, who bring us food used to throw the food particles and pour the sweet cool drinks over our body, thereby letting the ants to bite us and entertain our weeping.
Once they have poured the very hot tea over my body and my abdomen is very much burnt. Also they wounded my foot of legs with iron rod and the scarves still exist.
They used to strongly pull the whiskers and hairs in the areas which were found plenty, by means of nail cutters; spitting saliva on our faces and throw stone and sand over us.
They used to sprinkle and bath us with the Urine and Human faeces, which was taken from the septic tank by a bucket and thus they make non hygienic and disgrace to enjoy our sufferings.
The Prison Security Guards used to supply intoxicating drugs to the prisoners as Maldives citizens. After getting intoxicated, the prisoners used to torture us like animals and they watch it with happiness.
The Police Officials used to make us to be seated, and stood near to our face, open the zip of their pant and behave in an indecent non desirable manner. I don't like to explain the sexual harassment in detail, for it is well aware for everyone who read these things and is also possible to be read by many political leaders, Officers and common people.
I humbly pray you to save my son and bring him back to India. Financially, we are suffering like anything to move our day to day life. Please help me. Expecting your favourable action. With thanks.
