Missing Luggage

This is Sachin Sogani (working with Grasim, Part of Aditya Birla Group).

My self and my colleague (Abhishek Kumar Jain) started our journey on 7th Feb. from Delhi, India on Emirates Flight. Our final destination was Paris to attend an extremely important Exhibition for Textiles held in Paris. We incurred around 13000 Euros for our personal booth in exhibition. And purpose behind participation in this exhibition was to finalize all future business with various Global Brands & customers such as M&S, Next, BHS, ZARA, GAP, OLD NAVY, ARMAND THIERY etc.

We were supposed to travel from Dubai to Paris. Due to delayed landing of Delhi in Dubai we missed our Dubai - Paris Flight. Emirates booked us in Qatar Air ways. Details are below given -

B) Missed Flight - EK 75 : DUBAI - PARIS (7th Feb.)

Emirates booked on following flight. At transfer desk of Qatar air ways (By Danta Counters), we have been given pathetic services. We were intentionally punished by waiting us for almost more then one hours. It was an harassment. We feel strong action to be taken on the person who arranged and gave our boarding pass at that transfer desk.

A) QR 109 - Dubai to Doha - 7th Feb.

B) QR 21 - Doha to Paris- 8th Feb.

Please note following five Baggage were checked in Delhi and all five were checked on Mr. Abhishek Kumar Jain's name at check in Counter. Baggage no. are below given -

EK046089, EK046090, EK046091, EK046092 & EK046093

We received only three Baggage in Paris on 8th Feb. out of above five. Two were missing.

Received Baggage Tag- EK046090, EK046091 & EK046093

Missing Baggage Tag - EK046089 & EK046092 (One luggage is full of our cloths and garment samples which was to be used for finalizing business with various customer. The other one was display material for out booth)

We lodged complaint to Air France Baggage services at CDG air port.

We were chasing everyday to Air France air port authorities about our luggage but informed they had no information. Once we were told on 9th that one out of two will be delivered on latest 9th evening. But we never received even that.

We have returned from Paris now and still we have no information about luggage. We have lost colossal no. of future business due to not having these luggage. We have incurred following money on our travel to Paris -

A) Our Paris Air Tickets - About 1500 USD

B) Participation - About 17000 USD

C) Our Stay in Paris - About 1500 USD

D) Purchased cloths in Paris - About 200 USD (About euros 140)

Total - Abt. 20200 USD

E) Lost business due to these missing Luggage - Atleast minimum 200, 000 USD

Grand Total - USD 220, 200 USD

We wish Emirates or Qatar Air ways to compensate us above money at the earliest. Please contact us at below given no.
