Egistration of warranty extension

I have purchased a laptop of hcl on 21-8-07.On 20-08-08 I made a warranty extension for two years. But even after almost 10months my warranty extension has not been registered. Because of this when i went to authorised hcl service center for replacing my hard drive and dvd-rw I was not given service. So please register my warranty extension immediately
