I have purchase HCL desktop EC2 from Croma store in Bangalore. Their is sticker on top of the desktop say "Microsoft Windows Vista Started Editition". This normally means that I have purchased Windows license along with Desktop. At the time of sale, Croma was silent about OS. They did not tell me that I have not purchased the Windows.
Unortunately, my OS has crashed and when I contacted HCL service center, they told me I need to provide OS cd to them, whereas Croma has said that they do not provide OS cd with this system.
It is wrong practice and I advise everyone to not to buy HCL desktop as they cheat the normal consumer.
