We have purchased Notebook from dealer in Ahmedabad, HCL K 28 model, it is under warrenty as per policy,
1st time when we sent to the CC unit @ahm it was on 21/10, problem was HDD crashed, we came to kn from CC that the mother board of it was bad & thery hv to replace it, but there was no buffer so we hv to tke back our material from CC bcz as per them, they cannot keep the material more then 2 days... on 25/10/08, we received it by getting the answer that only RAM slot was bad, & out of 2 slots one is n/w, they gv standby Memory of 1gb in 1 slot of memory...
WE WERE TOLD THAT WE WILL GET THE CALL FROM CC FOR NEW BOARD IN 15 DAYS,
we hv got call from CC after a month that is on 1nd dec, that we hv to send the Notebook to centre for changing the main board as they hv rec, it from their HO .. we hv sent on 2nd & rec.it on 3rd... it was working very slow due to reinstallation of VISTA in our notebook, it was hanging again n again, we were fed up with the service of the same,
we hv called n shared this problem to CC & came to kn that we hv to send back the system again to centre,
On 16/12/08, morning, whn try for switching on the notebook, it was showing No display, we have sent it to CC & came to kn that the connector of the charger which is on the motherboard, is BURNT ... & we came to knw from the CC team of HCL that we are suppose to pay 14000/- for the repair charges,
WE NEED SUPPORT FROM HCL OR OUR DEALER FROM WHOM WE HV PURCHASED THE PRODUCT, WE HV ALL THE DOCUMENTS AS SUPPORTINGS, THAT WE HV SENT THE NOTEBOOK TO CENTRE AND WE HV RECEIVED IT IN N/W WORKING CONDITIONS FROM THE CC UNIT...
LET US KNOW THE STATUS SOON
