After Settlement Issues

1) Once payment is done, customer is forgoten

2) Promised to send email the same day, not reached even 5 days later. When will hard copy reach?

3) Hopeless customer service.

4) Cash payment when in recovery division is possible, but other not.

5) Statements are sent to my doorstep: my doorstep according to them is my MNC where i work.

I had used a total Amount of Rs.600/- from the HDFC credit card for movie ticket purchase. It was my bad luck that I used the card and I didnt have a direct source to pay this amount back. The bank had my email id and my cell number. But never did i get any message saying that your outstanding payment till date is so and so. There were many calls asking me if i needed another credit card. I asked those people if anyone could collect cash payment from me coz i dont have a cheque book. They said that is not possible. The helpline was always busy whenever i tried.

Having got no statement and no message or call for almost 6 months, suddenly i get a call from the claims and recovery dept, Bangalore, Airport Road Division from one Mr. Karan. He said I need to pay an amount of Rs. 3715 for the credit card. After 15 mins again he called. Next day morning he called. That day he was ready to send a person to collect cash which was not possible before. To collect 600 a person cant come, but to collect 3715 a person can. There were some calls made, till i reached the office to pay the amount. I paid the entire amount and got the settlement letter. He showed me some sheet wherein some amounts were der as to how my amount came to 3715. But to send the same thing thru mail, has taken him so many days. I asked for a mail having the details of how my amount came to so much and a NOC to help for income tax. That was last friday. Monday i gave a call to remind them. Tuesday also i did. But Mr. Karan is not there at his seat always. Previously it was him who picked up the call everytime i called (quite a number) Friday again I gave a call and they said they are sending it. How am I to believe them?

The mail which was supposed to reach me after some time on saturday 07/03 has not reached me till 13/03. If a mail doesnt reach, when should i expect that a hardcopy of the same will reach? And after the payment no call at all.

Is this the customer service they provide?
