Poor After Sales service

Dear Sirs,

Warm greetings of the moment.

With reference to service issues we had regarding the Karizma bike I have purchased, I reveal that I am not at all satisfied with the kind of service receieved from the place from where the bike has purchased from in Nasik.

Infact after having an intense followup with the herohonda team for the same and the kind of service receieved, I have stopped giving the vehicle for the free servicing at the authorized service station at nasik.

But infact with my investment in the bike of 85000/- I am very happy to buy it but very dissatisfied with the way the service is being handled here. everytime the bike had been for serrvice there has been some new problem imbibed in the bike.

Since the second service I have been complaining the officials that the something happens to the rear wheel so that while turning one seems to fall down and we have to be very careful while driving the same.

I wonderf if we have professional engineer to repair and check the expensive bike that the customer buys from Herohonda. You have started good initiatives to cater to the service issue of the vehicles, but we would appreciate if the same would be thoroughly be followed by the front line team for service.

I really now regret that i have bought the expensive bike from herohonda and hampered my peace of mind, the vehicle condition and have got the risk of getting into acidents due to the condition of the bike. I shall now not discuss the problems in the mial as I have lost the hopes of getting these things solved form the Herohonda management too.

Hope Herohonda takes this issue seriously and does the needful so that the front line team at the servicing shall obediently do the neeful.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I, the undersigned, would like to congratulate you

on the success of HERO HONDA. You definitely have wonderful vehicles in the

stable. Hats off to HERO HONDA team!

With the enthusiasm the best bike in the market, i

had been in the analysis of the bikes and finally had come down to two best

bikes namely the all new HERO HONDA Karizma and the BAJAJ Pulsar 220. After

the comparison I had found Bajaj to be more in the specs and i would have

purchase it. But with my history, my family and business network has been

using the HERO HONDA bikes and are satisfied with the performance of the

bike.

I finally purchased Karizma (MH-15 CA-1994 purchased

on 29th Nov) and was very happy with the bike. I purchased it from

Jitendra Automobiles who is the dealer for Nasik. I was very happy until

the first service at Jitendra Automobiles. The experience changed my way of

looking to HERO HONDA totally. Before I had an image that you have a very

close check on how do the existing customer as well as the new customer

looks at you.

Till the first service the Bike gave me an mileage

of around 43kms per liter and i was astonished with its result and i told

this to the staff at your dealer. but during the first service your dealer

has spoiled the bike and every time i put it for minor work in the dealer

induces some problems in the bike and does not repair the one induced

previously.

Following are the problems that your dealer has

induced during my 6 visits to him for the problem troubleshooting and

repair as well as for servicing:

-The gears are very hard and get stuck

-The clutch has been loosened and set in some abrupt way that the gears

dont change smoothly, rather more fore is to be applied on the gear lever:

prior to the first service the gears were very wonderful and i had never

driven a bike with such a smooth gears.

-When we press the rear break the rear brake shoe snaps and makes a noise

and instead of braking smoothly it is in jerk: this problem has been

induced in the first service. Just after one week of service i had spoke to

the top authority of service department there, the reply said that the

brake should be tightened to reduce the problem and they tightened the

brake so much that in idle condition the brake was continuously applied and

even after the same the jerk problem still exists. Just imagine if the

brake gets stuck in the normal speed and if the bike stops urgently without

pressing the pedal and if there is a heavy vehicl behind the bike, i wont

be remaining in this wonderful world to write to you after which you would

get into soup.

-Mileage: The bike gave me mileage of 43 kms per liter till the first

service and i regret i told them about 43 kms per liter, after that they

set it to 8kms/liter.

I request you to kindly look in the mater and do

the needful! i had spoke to the heads of the departments there but every

time the vehicle is added with some more problem. Everytime i feel these

problems are put intentionally by the people at the dealer.

I fear if this thing goes on and no corrective

action is taken, i shall be forced to lodge a suit in the consumer

protection court, which i do not want to do for my favorite bike company.

But if you need me to i shall have to be there!
