Non supply of battery

I bought a Hindustan unilever water purifier Pure It Last six months back,

Its battery which is the main spare parts for this unit goes off, and I am repeatlly complaing for this part ready to pay the charges of this part, but all in vain, because the company not supplying from last one week I am complaining for this.

what is the use of this kind of product.

Who will be responsible if anybody in my house goes ill due to drinking non filtered water, because in our area water is coming so dirty you can't even smell it without filtering it.
