I had purchased Honda City Exi from Deccan Honda, Aurangabad. After about 6-7 months,
when I was proceeding to Pune from Aurangabad one of the tyre got punctured. When I saw
and shown to the Mechanic nearby he told me that side wall of tyre got damaged extensively and it is due to manufacturing defective. On arrival from my trip I immediately contacted to Deccan Honda service station at Aurangabad, who initially flately refused to see saying that it cannot be a manufacturing defect and thenafter he said Honda Company had nothing to do with it as it is tyre Co. who is responsible. When I said to them that I had no concern with Tyre Co. as tyre was provided by Honda and on my insistance oftenly, ultimately Service Centre sent tyre to MRF Co. for inspection aND it returned back with a cyclostyled reply that it is not a Mfg. defect and it is your defective use. Thenafter I again contacted to Honda Cars Seil Co Ltd. on web site. But unfortunately no response is given except MRF Co's representative sent me a mail asking my appointment for inspection of tyre as he was at that time visiting Nasik. I had given appointment but nobody came. This had happened priot to 4 months. Thenafter I had contacted time and again to Deccan Honda Service Station but no fruitful reply, not even acknowledgement of my complaint.
Because of this I have to put tube in tubeless tyre and get it worked.
Kindly investigate the matter and do needful in the matter.
