Screen Flickering at the bottom

Hi I bought HP Pavilion dv4 1216 TU laptop 3 mnths back..

From the past one month I found the Lap tops screen is flifkering...

Initially the flicker is not that much but now adays its causing some trouble to the normal view also..

I had some many expectations on hp and this one is irritatting me a lot..

Apart from all these things the Memory card reader slot is not working in mylaptop..

It Wont recognize the memory cards inserted

the same thing works fine in my friends hp laptop.

Please give me some suggestion what i need to do..
