Passport not received even after police verification

I submitted my Passport on the 6th of October file number-hydh00263008. The Police verification was done on the 9th of November. The official's name was Mr. Pandu Ranga Rao. I have not recived the passport till now (72 days). Please inform me how to proceed with this issue as I need my passport on an urgent basis, as i have to appear for my GRE exams which is scheduled on the 19th of this month.
