My HSBC credit card was stolen and misused on 25th April. I had blocked the card on 26th morning as soon as I realized it was missing, lodged a police complaint and submitted a copy of this complaint to HSBC along with complete details of the misused transactions, Bangalore MG Road Branch on 29th April, after having to make 3 trips to the branch. I have a stamped acknowledgement from the branch.
Ever since I have been calling HSBC Customer Care regularly and they are telling me the matter is still under investigation and will take more time.
On the other hand I am regularly getting threatening calls from the Collection department (2-3 calls everyday on my mobile and home landline number) for payment of the disputed amount.
I have been using this card regularly for the last 4-5 years and have been making regular, full payments. And now I am being harassed continuously by one department of the organization for delays caused by another department of the same organization.
