HSBC Credit Card
Credit Card Charges

I was issued a credit card by HSBC in 2006 and I was told that it was free for lifetime card. I had not used this card even once this card expired in Feb and I was sent a new card in Jan without being informed that I will be getting a new card. I started getting sms on my mobile stating that I have to pya Rs1410/- in April. Inspite of calling up HSBC centre I have not recieved any credit card statemtns, neither has anyone told me what the charges are for.

They gave me a number to call on and inspite of repeated attempts I was not able to contact anyone on this number. After this I kept getting sms to pay the amount and finally now in September it has gone up to Rs.9108.97 and phone calls from recovery agent who are very rude and do not have basic training and knowledge of how to talk to people.

HSBC has still not cleared this up. Can you please suggest how do I get this resolved.

Thansk & regards,

Renita
