Sub: Discontinuation of Credit Card
Dear Madam / Sir.
I understand from communication received from my residence in Kolkata, India that you have forwarded me a bill for renewal of my Credit Card No. 4476925497828561. The statement is for the period 26th July 08 to 26th August 08. Amounting to Rs. 594.49 (Rupees Five Hundred Ninty Four & paisa Forty Nine Only)
Please note that I have since moved out of the country & in my present place of stay, the credit card is not valid for use. I had therefore not requested for the renewal of the same after its expiry. You will also notice that there has also been no transactions on my expired credit card for a very long time as I am no more in the country.
In view of the above, I would request you to please waive of the amount Rs. 594.49 (Rupees Five Hundred Ninty Four & paisa Forty Nine Only) as I DO NOT NEED A RENEWAL of the card. A line in confirmation over e mail to the action will be much appreciated.
