Iam sharing my bitter experience which iam going through with HTC. Before thrasing them remember that I was a loyal customer of HTC who used touch (1st gen) and diamond 1st gen. And now i
have bought diamond2. I had no problems with both of my previous mobiles...
I purchased this mobile (diamond2) about couple of months back. And it was working fine untill about 3 weeks back (issue started approx from 1st month). The main problem was 1) Mobile was heating up at the back without any usage, 2) batter drains off in about 30 mins even after a full charge. This is were the problem started. I called up HTC customer care and got the address of the nearby service center (salora - HSR layout). Wehn i went there they diagnosed and confirmed its a mother board problem and it has to be replaced. I was shell shocked. I spoke to HTC customer care and requested them to replace my set rather than using a repaired set after spending 30, 000 INR. I went to the service center prior to last friday, were service center promised they will give the delivery on wednesday.
No one from HTC called me even once and though its more than a week now i haven’t got any call from their service center either. I called the customer care about 10 times now to get an update and all they say is "its been escalated to their manager" and i will get the call in next 24hrs. Be-live me no one called me even though it has been more than a week now. Iam really pissed off, and i request everyone else to stay away from this brand... i will update as soon as i have something... going to call them now...
I gave one start just because i can’t give anything negative... i assume that htc ripped me and i will take this that i lost 30, 000 rs.
After 1-1/2 weeks i called their cusotmer care & After confirming with the service center guys i went to their showroom after 45 mins of tiring drive from whitefiled due to the hectic traffic. Once i reach... i got an answer from their front desk that ’’their techie has taken my mobile with him when he went to microsoft’s workshop’’. How in the world they are allowed to use my mobile i had no clue... Yet another disappointment. I requested the front desk person to give it to me on written and he did and i requested for their stamp on it. He also promised that he will send the mobile to my place.
Next day a person came to my door step with the mobile but still the issue which i mentioned hasn’t been fixed. I called the service center people and informed them promptly and i said iam not going to get this mobile. Next day around 11AM i called the service center i got an update that the mobile is under the observation and i will get a call in the evening about the status (Friday). I waited and due to my busy schedule i complete forgot my mobile.
Today (sauterday) i called the service center again and after 6 continuous call a guy picks up the phone and informs that the service section isn’t functioning today as its sauterday (this was never communicated by the htc customer support previously). So i called their customer support and they promised again that i will receive a call before 5pm in the evening. And I was waiting till 5:15pm and no call arrived.
At 5:20pm i tried to call their customer care and all got was their working time ends by 5:30 and no one pickedup my call... GOD PLEASE SAVE ME & SAVE MILLIONS OF OTHERS FROM BUYING A HTC... Its been exactly 2 weeks iam running around without my mobile (so called f*** busioness call mobile). My question activity id is ’’09INCW43ENA000234’’ ; with htc... GOD AGAIN PLEASE SAVE ME...
Now in to 3rd week... I was transfered to a supervisor from the customer care & he said i will receive call from their service head quarters for 3 days now... this is the usual answer "sir please wait till the evening our senior staff from service head quarters will call you" when i try to contact him in the evening (i just dont want to mention his name here) I get a reply that he is in meeting and suddenly their shift gets over... Even after returning back the mobile twise to their service center they dosnt even know what the problem is... I will update this thread based on what happens today...
