MF on joint namedenial for closing of DEMAT Accont

Dear Sir

We have a joint saving cum DEMAT account with ICICI bank habsiguda hyderabad. I purchased four tax saving Mutual funds. now we want to close the both account hence we want to dematerialased mutual funds as we can not sell it because they are in lock in period and so we applied for the same on the formate of ICICI BANK but our plea for materialization was turn down on the plea that mutual funds purchased from a on line jiot accont can not be dematerialesed and we can sell the MF as they are in lock in period.

It is requested to look in to mater and do the needful
