Non Receipt of trading Account Details

I had applied for an online trading account with ICICI Direct sometime around 21st April 08. I was assured that my account would be active, at the most, by the 15th May '08. Repeated calls to ICICI Direct executives who had initially approached me as well as sever5al emails to icicidirect have produced no positive outcomes.

The imbecilic executives say that my application is under process and I would receive the details shortly. ICICI Direct helpline once mentioned that my application had been rejected and has been sent back for reprocessing. The other time they mentioned that they have no such records when I furnished them with my application number.

I am a doctor who really doesn't have the time to keep on following with them. All I want is a response as to whether they can accept me as a client of theirs and provide me with a trading account or I should approach some other bank/portal for the same. If it is the latter case, may I please request them to refund me the deposit of Rs. 250 that I had made for opening the account. I am now seriously considering along with my family of withdrawing my bank accounts from ICICI.
