I had an Idea prepaid sim card with number 9921667748. I lost my phone on 12th July, Saturday at 4:30 PM. I called up Idea customer care and after the verification they assured me that card would be blocked immediately. I waited for sometime and called back but agents hung up on my face. Next day when I tried to call the number which was lost, the thief was using my number to make calls. I again called up Idea and spoke to the manager (Sangeeta and Shaheen Sayed) and they told me that it takes 48 hours to block sim card. I said its unacceptable as my card can be misused and it should be blocked immediately. I asked them to give me the number to which call has been made from my lost number, they refused saying we can't give you this information. I am very much frustrated and want strict action as this is sheer negligence of a customer. They have also blocked customer care number from my second number 9921526293, so now I can't contact them until I ask my friend to call Idea from his phone.
