Non functioning of 139 service

My self with my family was to travel by Bagh Express from Gorakhpur to Kathgodam on 06/11/09.

While making equiry through mobile information service 139, I was informed that train is late by 5 minutes. I rushed to the station. The enquiry board was also showing arrival at Right time.

It reached late at Gorakhpur Station By two & half hours.

Why Government is wasting tax payers money on these useless services.
