I did book my train ticket on 15 Sep 2010 to travel from Delhi to beawar (raj) on 2nd of november. At the booking time my ticket status was waiting 1 and waiting 2.
My PNR status is 2110842636.
After almost 41 days (today on 26th of oct) the status is still the same. No one can believe that in 40 days not even a single ticket is canceled.
the second thing is that Railway says that chart will be updated at least 4 hour before the train time on the station but i have neven seen the update till one or half hour before the train time. If you are reside in noida and you have to catch the train from old delhi then it takes around 1 and hauf hour to reach there. If you don t have updated status then how can you plan your visit.
I am really frustrated by the services of PNR status. Please do something realistically to update it at least in few days but not in months.
