Dear Sir,
This is to bring to your notice that the renovation work is going on at New Town Faridabad railway station. Work was allotted in month of January 08 and was to be completed on May 08.Work was of renovation of surface area of platform no: 1 to 4.But till date it has not been completed and work is going on at platform no:1.Materials used is of substandard and the surface where it is made is not fine. Mixtures of cements and chips are getting away.
Total cost for work is Rs 15lac as per railway SSE works Faridabad. Two extension has already been awarded and work is not completed on a single platform.
No provision is made for the disposal of urinal waste and urinals are dirty and unhealthy. Letter of complain has been sent to DRM
Northern Railway New Delhi but no action has been taken.
Conditions of platform no: 2 & 3 surface is very bad. Everywhere
is pot-holes which cuses accident to passenger who travells daily.
I am also a daily passenger and face these sort of problem daily.
No display of information related to work is given which is compulsary as per act and rules of contract. Looking this type of
work shows and indicate to a corrupt practice.
I would request you to look it into the matter and see that every penny is been utilised.
