PF Status Link and IT refund status Link

I have applied for the closure of PF account and tried to check the status online through the EPF India Site. After entering the establishment code and the Account number.its giving me an error message (Invalid object name 'KN248receipt'.). I am getting a doubt that whether the system is working properly and is that serving the purpose.

If the system works properly and if the data is not updated regularly what is the need of having an online status checking link.

This applies for the IT refund link also.after entering the PAN no and selecting the assesment year.it just says that its been sent to the assesing officer. I am checking my IT refund for last year for the past three months and there is no other updation.when the assesing officer will process my refund, who is the person, his name?? in which office?? whats his contact number.without giving all these details how will a claimant will get his refund.so the claimant should wait till the assesing officer works on his own whims and fancies and complet the process.

Will the authorities concerned take necessary action for speedy disbursement of PF claims and IT refunds??
