I sent one Money Order for Rs.500/- on 30/07/ 2009 from, Manovikas Nagar Post Office, Secunderabad-500009 to Spirit in Jesus, Chiyyaram Post Office, Trichur-680026. Till 21st Aug I did not receive the Acknowledgement I enquired with the addressee and got a wonderful reply. On 14/08, Rs 500/ was handed over to the Addressee by the Post Man and on 21/8 the Post Man took back the Money saying, he did not receive the Back Up paper from the post Office of Origin.
When I checked up with Manovikas Nagar Post Office, they told on 30th Jul itself they sent the amount by Electronic Transfer. And he exclaimed on the delay till 14/8 for delivery! And he told, in case there was any doubt, he should have been contated, but that did not take place.
Anyway one written complaint was given. Still I did not receive the Acknowledgement as on 9/9.
Again I went to the Manoviaks Nagar Post Office, The post Master confirmed of sending another advice on 25th of Aug.
But the surprising fact is as on 8/9, the Addresse did not get the Money!
Why? Will it not be right to conclude there is foul play.
Anyway Authorities may look into and see that the addressee gets the money and the faulty is punished.
