Dear Sir,
I had booked a E-Ticket (PNR No 2164362241 and transaction ID 0143823298) for Train No 0556/NDLS KYQ SPECIAL, Kamakyay Express for travel from New Delhi to Patna Date of Journey on 25.09.09 by 3rd AC for following passengers:
Mr Sanjeev Kumar: M 44
Ms Sangeet: F 39
Miss Apoorav: F 14
This train was indefinitely delayed by over 12 hours.
As such, I have been repeatedly trying to cancel my e-ticket but unfortunately inspite of my repeated attempts have not been successful due to recurring communication failure by HOST SITE due to which information cannot be retrieved
I spoke to customer care the same night over phone with a request to cancel the ticket, but due to technical error they also did not succeed. I was subsequently advised to send an official communication through e-mail, which I deligently did the same night. I also got an ackowledgement from IRCTC that my complaint has been successfully registered and I shall soon get the refund proceed in my credit card account.
However, almost 3 months have since elapsed and I have not received any refund frm IRCTC. My repeated reminders seem to have fallen in deaf ears and I always get a mechanical reply stating that my request has been forwared to North East Frontier Railway for processing.
I am now fed-up and seek your assisatnce in expediting my refund from INDIAN RAILWAYS
