I am a student in the USA and I flew jet airways to my home town Chennai. My travel agent has fixed up a route through Delhi. On route I traveled through Brussels. The airline lost my baggage and I found this out in Delhi. I filed a complaint at once with their baggage claims department. They promised that they would initiate a search for the missing baggage and keep me posted. It has been over 3 days and they have not gotten in touch. They dont even answer your calls. I was searching over Google and by chance stumbled upon a link to a software called world tracer which allows you to monitor a complaint submitted to the airline. I entered my complaint number and found that JA had initiated a search with the wrong baggage description.
How can I expect to get my baggage back if they dont even know what they are searching for? When I called up their so called customer care number, no one answers the call. When I left India a year and a half ago I had a very good opinion on JA's services, but now the opinion is completely reversed.
They have initiated a worthless search, bad customer service both during the second leg of my journey and from the ground operations staff. I would not recommend anyone flying JA again. They have lost a loyal fan.
