I got Kenstar Microwave OM-20 DGLX as a gift from my aunty.
It was brought from Sony Gifts and Novelties, Nashik, Maharashtra in December 09.
It was in box for about five months.
When i installed it i found that it was not functional.
When I called Sony Gifts they gave me customer care no as 1800 4194 040
I registered a complaint TNA 13070 90 280 for demo as well as repair.
After repetitive follow-up service engineer came and found that control panel was faulty so he took it out and said he will return in two days.
Even after repetitive calls when service engg didn’t come I registered new complaint
TNA 18080 90 438. Finally service engineer came with control panel and installed it.
It started my microwave but due to over heating it was switching off after 5/6 minutes.
so one more complaint was lodged TNA0611090121, TNA1011090838. When their service
engg came he found that a cooling fan is not working. So he said he will be back with spares
In two days. As usual he went and never turned back. Two more complaints were lodged TNA2409090474 and TNA 291009084
While talking to customer care I found that they have closed my complaint.
As a result even after 11 months I couldn’t use this product.
Please let me know how to escalate this problem to company.
