I TRIED TO REGISTER MY COMPLAIN YESTERDAY AND UNSURE IF IT HAS REACHED YOU. I BOUGHT A HITACHI LCD L32H01AU (E09) ON 1/3/08 THRU VIJAY SALES MUMBAI INDIA AND FOUND THAT THE RESPONSE TIME NOT GOOD CAUSING DISTORTIONS. AFETR MAKING A COMPLAIN IN SEPT 08 THE SERVICE REP CHECKED IT OUT AND IMMEDIATELY SAID THAT THE MOTHER BOARD HAD TO BE CHANGED SAYING THAT THAT WAS REQUIRED SINCE HITACHI LCD IN INDIA HAD THIS DEFECT. I WAS SURPRISED AND DID NOT PERMIT CHANGING OF MOTHER BOARD AND IF THAT WAS NECCESSARY IT WAS ESSENTIAL THAT THE LCD SHOULD BE REPLACED. LATER HE WAS OF THE OPINION THAT THE PROBLEM WAS WITH MY CABLE. FROM A MAJOR PROBLEM HE MADE IT APPEAR A MINOR ISSUE. lATER THEY WERE AGREEABLE TO GIVE ME A NEW LCD HOWEVER THEY WANTED TO CHANGE THE BACK COVER SO THAT I WOULD HAVE A NEW LCD WITH MY OLD BACK COVER. I FOUND THIS MYSTERIOUS AND INSISTED ON A NEW LCD. THEY NOW ONCE AGAIN SAY IT IS A CABLE FAULT. ISNT THIS FLIP FLOP UNUSUAL? PLEASE HELP AND ENSURE THEY REPLACE MY LCD WITH A NEW ONE. KINDLY HELP.
