I had purchased the above model of color TV from Jhankar Electronics Kidwai Nagar Kanpur (U.P.) on march with the promise of promt and efficient service as and when required. It costed me Rs.54000.This TV is now under process of repaire for the last two months after too many perssuations and persiverence. Now, finally after too many visits of checking as aresult of too many phone calls to Mr. Ajai, the local autharized service manager of LG and Mr. S.N.Singh, the area manager, told me that this TVcnnot be repaired as the cercuit has damaged and is not available in any LG workshops.
So, how these efficient LG service engineers opted to dump this as it has served the purpose.
I wonder as why the LG could not get the place in Guiness Book for, the only company in the world probably which does not manufacture spare parts for such a costly product.
Similar was my experience with LG fully automatic front loading washing machine that I had to dump within 2/3 yrs of service only.
I am, afriad, how this complaint will serve my purpose or my fellow customers as well.
