Manhattan Credit Card(Standard Charted)
Late Payment Charges

Hi

I was holding the Manhattan Credit Card issued by Standard Charted Bank in 2005. I very offenly used the card that time.

I made a trasaction of around Rs250. Due to some reasons I din't pay, in the next bill they charged me Rs500 (Latepay Interest).

For Just Rs250 they asked me to pay Rs500 extra which I din't agree and called the customer care asked them to revert back. But they din't do. After that I never paid the bill. I used to get the statements every month with Latepayments and Interest.

After over a period of time, even I din't get any statements.

Now they were asking me to pay aorund Rs9000.

Can any help me what to do?
