1. I am Capt Aditya Sai G N D serving the Indian Army. I am also aware that the Maruti Gypsy used by us is a battle worthy and a reliable vehicle. Be the sands of Rajasthan or the serpentine roads in mountains, the Gypsy is a reliable partner.
2. With this regard for Maruti vehicles, I decided to buy a Maruti Swift Dzire VXI (metallic silver), through the CSD, to be collected from M/S Lovely Autos, Jalandhar. The deal was finalised by me after being assured in written that I will get my vehicle delivered in 30 days. I even credited an amount of Rs 50, 000/- to their account on 05 Aug 09 as advance booking Amt for the car. I have already taken a loan from army (AGIF) for the same and if I don’t submit the purchase deed I will be charged interest @ 10% for the amt. However, even after 60 days on 06 Oct 09, i.e. today I have been told that the car cannot be delivered. They don’t even have a firm date as to when the car will be available.
3. Being in the army, it demands time to find leave in between our ever committed routine and operational requirements. Having spoken to the agency well in advance and also sending the booking amount shows my commitment. But it really hurts that such a cold response is encountered from the agency, which speaks poorly of the company.
4. I am very sure that this is not the case, as I have great regards for Maruti. I am still keen to buy a Swift Dzire as the veh is a cutting edge piece of engineering. I am approaching you with an earnest request to please accord personal interest to my case. Awaiting an early & positive response.
