I purchased maruti swift VDI having Temp No. CH 09 8059 on 30.09.2008 from M/s Modern Automobiles, Ind Area phase I, Chandigarh. On second initial chek up I told them that there is some noise while turning the car. They checked the car and I was told that the noise is of axle and it has to be replaced I was advised to come after a week or so as the new axle is not in the stocks. I went to them on thursday the 20.11.2008 morning and to my shock I was told that I will have to bear the cost of the axle as there is minor hole in the boot of the axle. It is really astonishing that axle as well asthe boot were part of the new swift and that hole may the manufacturing defect or while doing my car servicing as there is not even a single scratch near the axle. How Maruti being such a custmer caring company can harras its clients on such a petty case. where is my fault in this and why should I suffer this loss, as it falls in the guarantee period.
