I am your Consumer for more than 30 years at house No.18/15 A, Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. I am 82 years old handicapped could not walk. My wife was not feeling will so most of the time I was staying with my sons at Pitam Pura for the last 2 years. Lately, my wife died last year and I was staying with my Sons only. As such, my house remained locked during which period I visited my house occasionally However, all bills raised by your Company.were regularly paid. Due the house remaining locked most of the time there was no/very little consumption. As my house remained closed most of the time my meter could not be checked and whatever bill come I paid regularly. I am shocked that my electricity supply was disconnected without giving any notice or informing me the reason for disconnection. When I went to Tilak Nagar Office to enquire why my electricity has been disconnected they asked as we could not check your meter so it was disconnected and now you go to Rajouri Garden office to deposit money for restoration. Even during disconnection period I received bill which I paid. I have deposited whatever they asked me as I was not in a position to go again and again to Rajouri Garden Office.
I was told to be present at my house on 16.10.2009 for restoration of electric supply. My electricity supply was restored on 16.10.2009 after which they asked me to sign the paper and give my phone No Now I am shoked to understand your letter that my meter is defective and you have asked me to come to Pushp Vihar. As already informed that I am 82 years old, I am unable to visit your Office on 16.11.09.
As my meter is not defective so kindly reinstall my old meter no. 23185852 at the earliest. I reserve my right to take appropriate action against your Company in case my sealed meter is tempered with on any ground whatsoever.
