I have used this abn amro credit card for which have been regularly making the payment on time. There was a payment due for which one of the customer executive (don't remember the name) called up and asked me to make a payment to their collection executive in cash as that day was supposed to be the last day to which i agreed. The guy did not come to collect the cash and the bank started charging the interest on the due amount. I explictly called bank and intimated the same so they assured me that i do not have to pay extra interest at it is a mistake from their side but till date they are sending me the statement for the interest every month which they did not wiped off from my account. Why do i need to bear an extra interest as it is a mistake from their side coz on that day itself i was on the way of making a payment but executive explictly asked me to give the payment in cash which i agreed. This is something very ridiculous as i am being asked to bear the amount to which i am not liable.
