I had been issued a ABN AMRO gold card last year some time which i could only twice. I used to book a movie ticket for Rs 200 and forgot to pay the bill that month and the next month i shopped for Rs 40, 000, a gold card could accomodate that. now when i received the bill for that month, there was a late payment charge for initial Rs 200 and interest on the entire amount -Rs 40200. i spoke to the customer care and she said that the late payment and interest would be waived off and i have to only pay about Rs 40, 400 inclusive of everything. but every since every month i receive the statement with the interest and late payment charges. i did call up the bank after that as well to let them know about it but that never materialized.

Now i have been harassed by calls demanding the money and talking rudely over the phone asking for money to be paid. i offered that since i wont pay the total amount which has become Rs 5000 approx. since the amount has acumulated because the bank did not waive the amount when we last spoke, i would be able to pay Rs 1000 maximum as settlement in which the person said dont want that and just kept arguring.

How do we take it up.
