I purchased N 5800 on 14.04.09 and immediately discovered the set was hanging up after 5-6 hours of switching on with the message MEMORY FULL CLOSE DOWN SOME APPLICATIONS., though neither i have uploaded photos or music or any other substance related material.,., i handed over the set to the dealer who said the set will have to be submitted for repairs and after 30 days handed back the set, but strangely i found the same old problem. I again handed over the set to Nokia care who sent the set again to Delhi and on 25th july mentioned the set was ready, i asked them to keep it under observation, they asked me to collect the set on 3rd august on reaching Nokia Care, Tollygung told me they found problem with the Memory card too and hence i should come back on 5th august. I collected the set on 5th august and was told that the MOTHER BOARD AND MEMORY CARD have been changed., . on 6th august after using for 5 hours i found the same problem ;; MEMORY FULL CLOSE DOWN SOME APPLICATIONS,.,
I am not amused at all!!!
I am a journalist and deal with Product Analyzers and am finding it hard to digest the above related problem for a set which costed me IRS 19200,.,
My complaint nos are 1-7337003203 and 1-7640032665
I have spent 900 Rs on anti-virus loaded thrice as the Memory card was Formatted and spent 420 rs on anti-scratch cards which were removed every time the set was submitted for repair.
Between 14.04.2009 to date i could not use the set for even one full day!!!
I look forward to immediate solution and look forward to compensation for the suffering in the form of expanded Memory card issued to me at no extra cost.,
I have restrained myself from approaching any Forum for redressal but cannot do so indefinitely, if the problem is not addressed to my satisfaction,.,
