The company has agents at Dadar, Mumbai, which operate Air Conditioned Bus Services between Mumbai and Pune. My wife and her relation with 2 children were to travel to Pune. I dropped them at the booking office at 9:15 am at Dadar. We were told that a bus was available, and would leave in about 15 minutes. So we booked the tickets, and my wife and company boarded the bus.
It was shocking when, at 10:50 am, my wife called up and told me that the bus had still not yet left. The agents cited that the bus would leave only after all seats were filled up. Finally the bus left at 11:00 am.
My complaint is that the agent should have informed us of the facts, and we would have taken an alternate bus. The agents just take customers for a ride.
I informed Neeta Travels of this problem, but they put up their hands saying that the bus had been contracted to the agent and that they were only interested in recovering their money.
It is high time that private companies pull up their socks and ensure customer satisfaction, otherwise they will lose all their customers.
I have decided that I shall not use or recommend Neeta Travel Services in future.
I would also like to know if I can take any punitive action on the company or the agent, so that this does not repeat in the future.
