I bought a pair of shoe from Hallmark Jhansi (U.P.) on 02-Mar against the payment of INR 395.00.
Its sole got detached on the very first use of shoe on 06-Mar. I went to the store from where I bought it on the same day and asked the owner to replace it and in response to this, he said "He won't be able to replace it because this is an imported product and the concerned company do not take any liability for replacement". Though nothing of this sort was communicated to me and when I asked the Contact details for this company (for enquiry), they didn't provide it. Also the repair they did on the shoe was not up to the mark. The owner get it repaired from some local shoemaker without even lodging any formal complaint to the company.
I had to force him to give me a receipt for the purchase I did, they didn't even bother to do things as it was their responsibility to provide proper things to their customers for which they charge a good amount.
This is the first time I am lodging this complaint to this site. Please guide me regarding the next logical step for the same.
