I regret to bring under your notice that i purchased Nokia 3110 classic black, on 27.06.2007 from an authorised nokia dealer
Vinod Cell World, 632/A, Poonamallee High Road, Arumbakkam, Chennai 600 106 .(near anna nagar arch) (opp. N.S.K. Nagar Bus Stop) which has been showing technical problem regarding message option.
The entire message option does not work when the handset is taken out of station and remains the same within station for few days and then resolves by itself. When the message option is clicked from the menu it says 'message storage memory not ready'.The inbox, outbox, create message, drafts, sent items, saved items, delivery reports, e-mail, yahoo! go, instant messages, voice messages, info messages, service commands, delete messages, message settings entire option shows the same when clicked.
I have got my software updated in chennai from an authorised NOKIA service centre, after which it had started functioning normally. But the problem reccurred when i had taken the handset outstation again. I have even tried by changing the sim card but without vain. Vinod Cell World has denied to accept any complaint which i had lodged regarding this issue.
