I purchased Nokia 3600 slide phone worth Rs 9600 from Mobile access, Garuda Mall, Bangalore. The phone had some problem with its camera and i took the phone to the dealer the within 24 hours and asked to replace the phone. The dealer did not replace the phone saying that once you perchase the phone, its not the responsibility of the dealer to replace the phone.
But according to Nokia's policies if the customer takes the phone to the dealer with any problem within 24 hours of purchase, its the responsibility of the dealer to replace the phone.
The dealer even misguided me to take the phone to nokia care where the phone will be replaced. But when i went to the nokia care they told me that they do the repairs only.
Now my point is "why should i manage with a defected piece when i have payed for a new phone? ".
Please ponder over this problem and take necessory actions.
