I bought a Nokia N76 in Bangalore last year. Within 6 months, it's outer paint started peeling off and I turned it in to a Nokia 'CARE' center in Jayanagar, Bangalore. This was probably the worst decision of my life. They promised to give my mobile on 11th Feb. It's over 2 months since their committed target date and I have talked to this Careless center several times. Nokia also publishes a number called Nokia Careline for concerns/escalations and I remember having called them at least 15 times. Each time talking to a different call center agent who is never capable of giving any resolutions. I had escalated this by raising a complaint number, to no avail. It looks like Nokia customers only have to wait, wait, wait for their phones to drop from the skies. Nokia claims my case is escalated and is being looked at with the highest priority. I pity those whose cases are not escalated. Is there any way for a customer to get this grievance redressed? In any other advanced country, Nokia would have been asked to pay up several millions as penalty. In India, anyone can go scot free. Can someone help me here?
