I bought 1 handset Model No.5310 on 03.09.2008 & some problem started on 08.09.2008 & the set was sent for repairs on 09.09.2008.The set was returned to me on 25.09.2008 with an assurance that there was a minor fault & will work perfectly now. But the same problem occured the next day & when I visited the service centre on 27.09.2008 the set was deposited & I was told that it will be sent to Noida. On 07.10..2008 on phone I was told that it will be replaced & it will take next 20 days & when I inquired that will it be brand new or a repaired set I was told that it won't be brand new but will be new which I was not able to understand. Here I would like to mention that this set was purchased by me because the set I had prior to this was also a NOKIA model no 6270 which started troubling me after 1 month of purchase & was replaced after 3 times of repairing work done on that. The set I recd.on replacement was a repaired set which I was handed over to me saying as new & it only worked for 6 months & the same problem occured & when I contacted the service centre I was told that it is out of warranty & I will have to pay for repairs for which I agreed. But after 6 times of repairs I was told that it is beyond repairs & was advised to buy a new set & dispose it off. This time also the same problem has started with the new set that I purchased. This time as a replacement I would accept a brand new set & not a repaired one. Kindly, arrange for the same so that my trust on NOKIA may be maintained & my decision of choosing NOKIA may not prove wrong.
