I am a governtment employee. I had bought a N81 Nokia Mobile Handset from Dwarka, New Delhi on October 30. The IME of the handset is 356994017805007.It is still in the WARRANTY PERIOD.
1. The handset was defective friom its inception, ie the day I bought it. The camera of the handset is not working properly. The flash mode is almost non-functional. The photographs can be clicked only in night mode. I went to the NOKIA CARE CENTRE at Sector-4, DWARKA, Newdelhi. But to my dismay, the staff was totally non-cooperative. Instead of writing the actual complaint on the Service sheet, they wrote the standard complaint (which they write for all customers, whatever the complaint might be.)They never bothered to check the mobile.
2.Moreover, when I went to the seniormost official at the centre, he refused to accept that the camera was faulty. He said that the company produces such products only.
3.On the top of it, they even broke my handset and when I enquired, they said that it was already broken.
4. I had paid money for the change of keypad. But, they replaced my keypad with a defective one which they changed to the previous one only after a lot of altercation.
I request the company to either rectify the default or change the handset.
