Dear Manager Customer care,
Having made a difficult decision of selecting an Nokia N 85 from wide variety of phones in that price band purely on the basis that NOKIA is sure to deliver. I feel letdown and cheated both at the same time.
I purchased the with IMEI No:356376020555649 on 20 Dec 08 from Yash Electronics Jamnagar Gujrat.By the third day the handset speaker stoped working and you could make and receive calls throough use of loudspeaker. Since, i was out of town i could not approach the nokia care till 28 Dec 08, wherein i was told that the handset speaker had gone bad and had to be replaced. Which was done promptly.
However, on receiving the set i realised two features viz the NGAGE and Dictionary were no longer in the system. Further i realised a hairline crack had started to develop just below the Navi wheel button. The music player function by sliding up had also stopped operating. I called up the Nokia customer care number on the 30/31 Dec 08, they informed me that they could not register the coplaint and i should go back to the N-Care centre. i was Once again approached the N-Care centre this time he could only resolve the music sliding feature and expressed his inablity to re-install the NGAGE and Dictionary software. Further, he agreed to the hairline crack as manufacturing defect but refused to acknowledge the same officially and expressed inability to resolve the same. As if this was not enough the set has now started to hang in most of the applications..SO MUCH FOR AN N SERIES PHONE.
It is my humble request that either the Set may be replaced with a new one or i may be refunded with the money i spent.
