No information about passport status

Sir

I submitted an application for a fresh passport with file Id CHD Z45537709 for 20 days ago with police enqiry but when i am checking the status of passport, the following massage occurs,

The file id is either wrong or there is no information available

I also sent an email to The Ministery of external affairs, regional officel, chandigarh but there is no responce from the same after 10 days.

Please help me to come out of this problem.
