I HAD BOUGHT A PHILIPS DVD PALYER IN 2005. THE DRIVE OF THE SYSTEM IS NOT OPERATING PROPERLY. THE SERVICE CENTRE IS CHARGING RS 1600/- FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE FULL DRIVE AS THE DEFECTIVE DRIVER MOTOR IS NOT AVAILABLE. I THINK IN TIMES WHEN A NEW DVD PLAYER IS COSTING 2300/- IT IS ILLOGICAL TO ASK 1600/- FOR REPAIRS. IN ADDITION, THE COMPANY SHOULD NOT FLOAT A PRODUCT IN THE MARKET WHICH IT CANNOT SUPPORT FOR EVEN THREE YEARS
