This is to draw your attention to the fact that the undersigned has been residing in the said premises where the said meter has been installed and has been consuming gas for all this time. It came to my notice that your officer who is visiting our building for recording the consumption for billing purpose has not been taking the reading in spite of bringing this fact to his attention. He informed us that he has not been provided with this number and somebody else will visit us to record the same. However, as a result of this, it has become a practice that after a long period I receive a huge bill that also without recording the meter reading. I have with me the latest bill received from you from 12/02 to 12-8-09 for an amount of Rs..3911/=. On receipt of your bill, we have taken the reading on our own on 9-9-09 to ascertain the exact reading and found that the reading shows 297.28 whereas your bill shows a reading of 528 on 12-8-09. Hence, it is my plea to your goodself that this anomaly in the reading recorded by you and the huge bill may kindly be reconsidered promptly.
I am a retired person and residing in this premises on rental basis as our own building is under construction. I, therefore, request you to kindly look into the matter and do the needful by deputing your accredited representative to sort out this matter once and for all.
